Enterprise Community Event and C2C Event Platform Bevy Raises $6.4 Million

Published:

Bevy, a platform aimed at helping businesses organize community events, has secured a $6.4 million investment from well-known investors such as Upfront Ventures, Stanford Professor Steve Blank, and the co-founders of Qualtrics and Pluralsight. The funding will be used to accelerate growth and expand the company’s team.

The Bevy platform was originally developed by the founder and CEO of Startup Grind to address the challenges of organizing community events for the organization. As Startup Grind operates in over 400 cities across 120 countries, directors in these cities are responsible for hosting business events to support startup owners and build communities.

Recognizing the difficulties faced by these directors, the founders of Bevy saw an opportunity to create a separate company focused on Customer-to-Customer (C2C) marketing. This unique approach emphasizes building customer relationships and communities through events.

The C2C marketing platform provided by Bevy enables companies to utilize customer-run events to enhance brand-building and customer engagement. This strategy emphasizes the importance of creating personal connections with customers and providing them with exceptional service and support, all facilitated through the Bevy platform.

According to Kobie Fuller, General Partner at Upfront Ventures, C2C marketing through customer-powered events can significantly benefit brands by bringing people together and creating memorable experiences, particularly appealing to millennials and Gen Z who value experiences.
