Microsoft has revealed the launch of the latest lineup of Xbox Wireless Controllers, the Vapor series in Xbox Design Lab and the Xbox Wireless Controller – Dream Vapor Special Edition, as announced by the video game giant on Wednesday.
The Vapor series showcases a unique dynamic pattern on the top case of each controller, providing a distinctive look for each device. Fans of the Xbox Wireless Controller – Stormcloud Vapor Special Edition will recognize the design, which features a misty pattern that adds a textured finish.
With six top case options available on the Vapor series through Xbox Design Lab, gamers now have access to some of the most unique and customizable controller designs in the market.
For those who prefer bold and vibrant colors, Xbox offers a range of swirling and stylish hues to choose from.
If you lean towards green tones, the Electric Vapor top case combines Electric Volt and Velocity Green, while the Nocturnal Vapor top case offers a mix of Dark Green and Grey swirls. For a more fiery look, the Fire Vapor top case features a striking red and orange swirl.
Alternatively, the Stormcloud Vapor top case provides a cool blue design with a sleek swirl. Additionally, there are pink and purple options available, including the Cyber Vapor top case with a pink and purple swirl, and the Dream Vapor top case with a soft pink and purple swirl.
In addition to the Vapor top cases, gamers have the option to further personalize their controllers with different button and thumbstick styles. They can customize their designs with metallic triggers and D-pads, as well as rubberized side and back grips.
Furthermore, players can add a personalized engraving to give their controllers a special finishing touch.
Introducing the Dream Vapor
The latest addition to the lineup is the Xbox Wireless Controller – Dream Vapor, a Special Edition design.
This controller features the pink and purple top case from the Vapor collection, creating a Special Edition controller that stands out with its unique design.
The pink-purple swirl design extends throughout the controller, including the soft pink thumbsticks, bumpers, triggers, and hybrid D-pad.
While this Special Edition offers exclusive elements, all controllers in the Vapor Collection come with the latest features found in Xbox controllers, such as a battery life of up to 40 hours of gameplay.
These controllers support gaming on multiple platforms through Bluetooth and Xbox Wireless connection, including Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android devices.
